Due to technical issues, there are severe delays to today's quiz. While you are waiting you may like to have a go at one of the many unsolved questions. The thread hasn't been updated in a while (blame rincew1nd) but the questions never expire. Alternatively you may wish to wait for the large image from whistlekiller2000

Welcome (a bit later than planned) to question 3,849 and the first day of the 11th year of the daily quiz. To celebrate your task is to identify these four locations, the link between them and why this question was chosen for today. Location A: (click for a larger version) Location B: (click for a larger version) Location C: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version)

A = Covent Garden
As for B, the 15 storeys sign looks a bit fake! But I’ll go for Hampstead anyway.

Well you attempted 3 of the locations, but not the fourth nor the link or bonus question. From all that @aetearlscourt is the only to get points Location A: Does this version help? (click for a larger version) Location B: I don't think even LU would claim 15 steps as equivalent to 15 storeys, but it's not Hampstead (click for a larger version) Location C: no guesses, so no clue Location D: Elephant & Castle - northbound Northern line platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

I'm guessing C is somewhere on the DLR? Does that rate for a clue?
