Sorry for the delay to your quiz today, this is due to a typo I made meaning I uploaded the images to the wrong folder. Identify these four locations and the link between them and which is the odd one out Location A: (click for a larger version) Location B: (click for a larger version) Location C: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version)

Location A could be the footbridge leading off Walfield Avenue looking over the Northern line tracks looking south between High Barnet and Totteridge & Whetstone.
Location B might be looking south from Hoxton P2 towards Shoreditch High Street.
Location C is the footbridge linking Turnham Road and Dalrymple Road spanning the Sussex Fast & Slow lines between Honor Oak Park and Brockley looking north.
Location D looks to me like it's in the Hackney Downs area looking at the tower block which I think is Seaton Point.
Might be too early to say but is the odd one Location C because it wasn't taken from an overbridge with the link being the nearest station to these locations begins with an H?

Three of four. Location A: Between High Barnet and Totteridge & Whetstone - view south from footrbdige between Walfield Avenue and Wyatts Farm Open Space [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location B: Between Hoxton and Shoreditch High Street - view south from Hoxton station [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C: Between Brockley and Honor Oak Park - view north from bridge between Dalrymple Road and Turnham Road [Chris M] (click for a larger version) There is no clue version available for D, but while it is not impossible for that to be Seaton Point it seems rather unlikely to me. C is not the odd one out, and the images are not relevant to the reason today.

Location D: Between Silver Street and White Hart Lane - view south from footbridge between Bridport Road and Joyce Avenue [Chris M] (click for a larger version) So, what is the link and what is the odd one out?

Is the odd one out Location B? It's on a viaduct whereas the other locations aren't

B is not the odd one out, link is nothing to do with viaducts. Try taking a closer look at the answers.

Is the odd one out C as it was taken looking North, whilst all the others were looking South?

It's nothing to do with which images were chosen.

One obvious difference to common quiz puzzles is that these are all taken between stations whereas the quiz puzzle is usually a much more specific place.

They are all footpaths crossing the line.

arun overall since 2007 about 15% of all the questions have been locations that are not a current station (this year it is about 31% I think, but that's calculated slightly differently and I'd need to double check it before being certain). @stonesfan I did take three of these photos from footpaths or roads crossing the line (B is taken from a station platform but there might be an underbridge beneath the track here, I haven't checked). That isn't what we're looking for here though.
