Hello, I am long time reader of this board and have finally registered.
Is the change to a one-way system to get to the Jubilee line a permanent change?
Only from last week there is an announcement that there was a change but the actual old up-escalator was changed I believe two months ago. For a while there was only one up-escalator serving both Jubilee and DLR platforms, which caused a bottle neck.
And believe it or not there as still a lot of people in autopilot in the morning trying to get up the old up-escalator.
Thank you

its temporary as i found advice about escalator outage - Quote from TFL status on website
CANNING TOWN: Until late November, there will be a reduced escalator service at Canning Town station. This is while we carry out planned refurbishment work on two escalators, one at a time.
The first escalator out of service is one of four that runs between the ticket hall and Jubilee line. This will be followed by one of two escalators leading to and from the station entrance/bus station.During this time please follow signs to an alternative escalator, staircase or lift.

Thanks rsdworker, I actually mean the escalators behind the ticket barriers.
first set: used to be one up/one down - now down/down second set: used to be one up/one down - now up/up
This means to get to the DLR platforms 3and 4 you have to walk the full length of the station.
