jjerome95 PMed West India Quay and Charing Cross a few minutes after I posted the quiz, and between the rest you have all the locations. All we need now is the link and odd one out. Answer: Station A: West India Quay - platform 1 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Station B: Custom House - DLR and Crossrail in July 2014 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Station C: North Weald - fog repeater on platform 2 [ whistlekiller2000 ] (click for a larger version) Station D: Charing Cross - former cross passage between Jubilee platforms [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

Would the link have to do with platforms that don't serve trains anymore, with Custom House being the the oddity

Close, but not quite. It is to do with platforms, and them not being served by trains is not unrelated. Custom House is not the odd one out.

Out of curiosity, when was the picture of West India Quay taken?

Is West Indian Quay the odd one out because it's the only platform a train can't/doesn't call at, even for an exhibition/railtour/movie recording/regular service?

West India Quay is not the odd-one-out. The photo of it was taken on 6 July 2009 - the background looks a little different today.

I guess it's a 50/50.
Would North Weald be the Odd One out because it doesn't have any regular service?

North Weald is the odd one out, but not for that reason

It is to do with platforms, but that's not the answer on my card.

Nothing to do with yellow lines. Single platform is relevant but not the right answer by itself.

Fog repeaters are not found on LUL platforms, so North Weald is odd.

Nothing to do with signals, but it is to do with pattern numbers.

Well it depends on which member of the quiz team is online and when. If I'm online and it's 24hours since DWS asked, then I'll probably post the answer. That's not to say that I will be online exactly 24hours after the request, it's just a rough guide, should anybody have a last minute spark of inspiration.

The "usual rules" are that a question remains open until it's fully answered. If it hasn't been fully answered after a week or so then anyone can ask for the answer, which will be posted about 24 hours after that request was made. This allows for anyone who have a(nother) go to do so.

Looks like our Quizmaster keeps the points on this link.
Link: These stations all have gaps in the platform numbering sequence, except North Weald which has had twice previously but doesn't currently
