This question relates to all three of Crossrail 2, the East London Line and the North London Line. With Crossrail 2, one of the new proposed stations is simple called Dalston. Does anyone think the location will be as such that it links Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland so much that the whole lot will just be one station complex renamed Dalston?

From the PDF below it would seem that "The Crossrail 2 station at Dalston would be a double-ended station, with an interchange at Dalston Junction at the southern end, and an interchange with Dalston Kingsland at the Northern end."
Probably a bit like Liv Street/Moorgate and Farringdon/Barbican on Crossrail
No mention of naming it all "Dalston" though
