Looks very east end of the District to me. I'm gonna go for between Hornchurch and Elm Park.
Not sure which signal that is, though.

Nice to see the staff playing the quiz today; shame they've not got the right answer :-p
There is no clue version today, however it's fair to say that both guesses are close. In fact, I suspect, very close!

I'm sure thats A976 between Hornchurch and Elm Park on the westbound its the only area where the cable run jumps over to the westbound for a short stretch east of Barking

It is between Hornchurch and Elm Park, I suspect that rincew1nd's confusion is that the answer file lists them in the opposite order (I list all between locations in alphabetical order so I don't end up with duplicates). The answer file states it is signal A96, but that is an error on my part. The signal number isn't clear in the original photograph (see below) so I queried with Colin, whether it was A96 or A976 and checking the reply he gave me again, he did say "It would be three digits not two." and then later "Confirmed - it is indeed A976". My apologies to tut and @aetearlscourt. (click image for a larger version)
