The photo of the waiting room if it's on the East End of the District line is not a recent photo, because all the windows have bars on the outside of the windows (not the door ).

I agree, definitely the V&A, with a taxi cafe in the foreground. (Or whatever they are called).

cabman's shelter in front of the V&A - the A4 changes name several times on that 200-yard stretch: Brompton Road, Thurloe Place, Cromwell Gardens and finally Cromwell Road - the bit in the picture is Thurloe Place)
