Odd you should say, "It's not London", given that there are what appear to be LT roundels on the backing plates on the bus shelter-ish bits.

there are what appear to be LT roundels on the backing plates on the bus shelter-ish bits. They do look like LT roundels, but London Country Bus services got a long way out of the metropolis - well into the Chilterns and the North Downs - which that view could well be of.

Whilst this may be "northern" for most members of this forum, to mind it's most firmly not in The North. But then, I only believe in The North and The South; draw a line from The Dee to The Wash - above is north, below south.
