TfL have published a paper which will be considered by the Finance and Policy Committee early in December. It discusses the preparations for the transfer of West Anglia and Crossrail (Shenfield line) services to TfL. link to TfL paperit is a bit techy in places but it highlights the following :- 1) A few extra trains are needed for the transfer of services. The class of train is not specified. 2) Changes to the station leasing structure and extra rights for TfL Rail instead of Network Rail. 3) Confirmation of some extra services to be run. 4) Confirmation of revised TfL fares and Freedom Pass acceptance. The paper concentrates more on West Anglia than Crossrail because there are separate agreements covering some aspects of Crossrail. It also confirms what stations switch to TfL's control / operation by their contractors.
