Inset is Llyn Llydaw, with Crib Goch on the left, as seen from the summit of Snowdon (so the map would suggest - whenever I've been there you couldn't even see the station from the summit)

As an aside, a couple of BTP officers saw me take this photo, but didn't comment. When they later saw me at Plaistow (where I'd walked to from Upton Park) taking photos of something on the westbound platform (I forget what) they decided to stop and question me about what I was doing, including the full taking and checking of my details.

Yes, this is the view from the summit of Snowdon (either the summit monument or a few paces away).
