From May 2015 TfL will take over some services presently run by Greater Anglia and run some as Crossrail and some as London Overground. As this involves the construction of no new stations, the following 36 additional stations will become on-topic from the May 2015 quiz onwards:
Bethnal Green
Brentwood
Bruce Grove
Bush Hill Park
Cambrdige Heath
Chadwell Heath
Cheshunt
Chingford
Clapton
Edmonton Green
Emerson Park
Enfield Town
Forest Gate
Gidea Park
Goodmayes
Hackney Downs
Harold Wood
Highams Park
Ilford
Liverpool Street (NR)*
London Fields
Manor Park
Maryland
Rectory Road
Romford
Seven Kings
Seven Sisters (NR)*
Shenfield
Silver Street
Soke Newington
Southbury
St James Street
Stamford Hill
Theobalds Grove
Turkey Street
Walthamstow Central (NR)*
White Hart Lane
Wood Street
*The LU parts of Liverpool Street and Walthamstow Central are obviously already on-topic. I will definitely treat the two parts of Liverpool Street as separate locations for quiz purposes in the same way I do Euston.
Walthamstow Central and Seven Sisters could each be one or two locations depending on which people would prefer - Liverpool Street (LU/NR), Euston (LU/NR) and Paddington (H&C/Praed Street) and Bank-Monument are/will be treated as multiple locations. The LO/LU parts of Blackhorse Road and the LO/deep level parts of Highbury and Islington are currently treated as one location each but would be split if people prefer two locations for Waltamstow Central and Seven Sisters.
All parts of Stratford and Upminster are presently on-topic, but with a focus on the TfL served parts and so you may see different bits of the stations but otherwise nothing else is planned to change.
Crossrail stations that are being constructed will remain on-topic as they are at present. I anticipate that Custom House, Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street and Whitechapel will have the Crossrail part treated as part of the location that is on-topic already. What do you think?
Woolwich, Canary Wharf and both Heathrow stations will be separate new locations for the quiz.
Should Paddington Crossrail be (1) a separate location to the existing Paddington mainline station and separate to the H&C station; (2) a part of the existing mainline station but separate from the H&C station; (3) a part of the existing mainline station, including the H&C platforms; (4) part of the H&C station but not part of the existing mainline station; (5) something else?
How should the double-ended stations Moorgate-Liverpool Street and Farringdon-Barbican be treated?
Which should be the westernmost on-topic location for the quiz?
Hayes & Harlington and the Heathrow branch (as if the other branch didn't exist)
West Drayton - the westernmost in London
Slough - the first major destination west of London
Maidenhead - the original planned terminus
Reading - all Crossrail stations
Whichever western stations are included will become on-topic when Crossrail services start. Ealing Broadway Crossrail and LU will be one location, all the others will be new to the quiz.
So, please have your say. Is there anything I'm missing?
