Inset A - Old Harry Rocks, seen from somewhere round Poole Harbour, possibly Brownsea Island.

Neither A or C are Holborn, and couldn't be as part of this link.

That rather suggests that C is Lancaster Gate?

Holland Park is A. Lancaster Gate is 5th in the set. The link is each has two words, both containing A and they are on the central line

Lancaster Gate is the 5th in the set, but A is not Holland Park. The link does consist of three parts, but only one of the ones you propose is correct.

Is the link that they are all stations on the London Underground Network? If the link was that easy every time there'd be no fun. Well, maybe for the quiz team as we watch you all scrabbling abound for the answer; that would be evil. Hmmmm...... ;-)

So far it really does seem that they're all central line stations. Was that the one that melikepie got right?

The name, nor the words or letters in it, is not relevant to this link

I think A might be Queensway.
If it is, perhaps C is St Paul's, so that the five are the Zone 1 central line stations with no interchange to other lines...?
