Four images but only 2 guesses? v52gc's is the only correct one though. Lets see if these help at all. Location A: This image is not modified, so here is the image again. It is contemporary with parts of London Bridge station though. (click for a larger version) Location B: Have a clue (click for a larger version) Insets B1 and B2: do these unmodified versions help? You need to be more specific about B2 than you do about B1 by the way. Inset B1: (click for a larger version) Inset B2: (click for a larger version) Location C: Oakwood - closeup of roundel and paint work on southbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location D: This image is also unmodified, which may in itself give you a clue (click for a larger version)

B2 is a statue on Watling Street in the City, behind St Mary Aldermanbury and near Mansion House station. (No idea why it's there, but I've passed it many times) Is that specific enough?

What you say is almost entirely correct (but it isn't St Mary Aldermanbury), but it tells me almost everything about it other than what I'm looking for - i.e. what is it a statue of.
ps I can explain (part of) why it is where it is, but not without giving the answer away.

Sorry, I was getting my St Marys confused - this is St Mary Aldermary (no -nbu-) . The statue is in Cordwainer Ward, and is actually of a cordwainer (a fancy name for a shoemaker - as distinct from cobblers, who mend them). It was made by Alma Boyes in 2002, and moved from St Mary le Bow to its present location in 2004. Enough information now?

A is indeed Canada Water. I noted when I took it that this was the "stairs to the Jubilee Line". I presume from the East London Line level but I could be wrong about that as I took it on 16 December 2007!
