On the showing so far, thinking that the link might be "depots".

Almost everything. Inset D isn't Crich, you haven't attempted the odd one out and while the link is related to depots there is more to it than that. Clue for inset D: (click for a larger version) Unmodified versions of the other images: Location A: Beckton - ramp from street to platforms [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset A: Bridge at Alresford, Mid Hants Railway [Caravelle] (click for a larger version) Location B: Stonebridge Park - behind southbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location C: Morden - view southwest along London Road [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location D: Northfields - view from an eastbound train [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

So, three of these four are linked by something to do with depots:
Beckton Stonebridge Park Morden Northfields
but one of them whilst similar, is different.

It's not about ownership or operator, but it is about operations.

There is only one way into Beckton, but there is a loop, as can be seen in the Carto Metro London map (the interactive version of which seems to be down at the minute)

Northfields is not the odd one out.
However, access is linked to the answer.

Hehe, I think this is proof that we're not very good at depot questions.
But as a guess for the Link, is it something to do with Morden being accessed from a tunnel (of sorts) whilst the others aren't (making Morden the odd one out).

Is Becton the odd one out as the stunting neck at the other three is used regularly by reversing trains?

Beckton is the odd one out, your reason is very close to the one we are after but not quite there.

Yes, there is both a loop and a triangle at Beckton Depot ( track diagram). That isn't relevant to this link though.
