Not on LU but I had the great opportunity of going on this railway at the weekend complete with turntable, in an erm... cultural experience with some of the boys I teach. It was a lovely little railway, full of little quirks of stuff I'd almost forgotten about: the sliding up windows that 'click' locked, hand-worked points and - ça va sans dire - the lovely smell of steam. There was also a four year old driver, complete with full uniform that can just be seen in one of the DB pics. That looks glorious, I obviously went to the wrong kind of school, the best we got was when we had a residential at Haworth and managed a trip on the second-hand 308 from Keighley to Skipton. We weren't allowed to get the steam train from Haworth to Keighley; we had to walk! I hope you took some pictures for the quiz too
