Location A: (click for a larger version) Location B: (click for a larger version) Location C: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version) Bonus question: What is the theme of the backgrounds and insets? The insets in image B are numbered from top to bottom.

I'm fairly certain that C isn't Gants Hill. It could be St John's Wood or Swiss Cottage? Or even Highgate.
But I've no idea where anything else is - apart from Stonehenge.

Whatever C is, it must be in Essex! That would mean it has to be a station north of Woodford, or Roding Valley, Chigwell or Grange Hill. I suppose it could be a station formally part of Essex, which would include a few more.

B is Oakwood Location B: Oakwood - ticket hall [Chris M] (click for a larger version) The picture for background A didn't work earlier, due to my error. Here is Stonehenge in 2009: (click for a larger version) Finally, @progressingnicely was close enough with his guess that the theme is round things - "circles" was the actual word on the card.
