I would refrain but this one is too irresistably easy to guess - Heron Quays

Whilst there's a guarantee that I'll get most DLR locations unfortunately there's no guarantee that I'll be first to answer . Heron Quays +1 Perhaps I can redeem myself with the inset, it appears to be somewhere in the Cutty Sark area of Greenwich as I'm quite sure that's Masthouse Terrace Pier in the middle of the photo. Could it be perhaps Greenwich Pier? To be honest it looks a bit like an aircraft carrier, was there an aircraft carrier docked there during the Olympics?

Points to caustonAnswer: Main photo: Heron Quays - view to Canary Wharf [Chris M] Perhaps I can redeem myself with the inset, it appears to be somewhere in the Cutty Sark area of Greenwich as I'm quite sure that's Masthouse Terrace Pier in the middle of the photo. Ummmm, I don't know if there was, the only knowledge I have of HMS Ocean is the crew singing "All I want for Christmas is You" Oh sod it, have some points anyway!
