I am going to say Highbury as if this is Essex Road, it would be breaking the rules.

Essex Road was previously part of London Underground so it would be within the rules.

The inset looks like the Northumberland coast - possibly looking north from Dunstanburgh Castle?

Essex Road was previously part of London Underground so it would be within the rules. If that is so then all stations to Verney Junction, Brill, Windsor & Eton Central and Shoeburyness via Basildon should be allowed as well.

Answer: Main photo: Essex Road - (northbound?) platform [Bronzeonion] Inset: Northumberland coast north of Dunstanborough Castle [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Bonus question: Why was this location chosen for today? Bonus answer: Essex Road station opened on 14 February 1904 As an aside, the list of "on-topic" locations can be found in the "your photos wanted" thread.

As an aside, the list of "on-topic" locations can be found in the "your photos wanted" thread. Reading that I'm not sure whether Essex Road is "on topic" - it is neither a current nor a disused Underground station (nor do any of the other categories fit). This is not to say that it shouldn't be, just that it should be clear whether it is (or not) But I'm sure there was a another post (somewhere) going into whether stations in that category (NR stations which had been but no longer were served by LU (and predecessors)) were. And something must have been said about the Epping-Ongar Railway. There has also been discussion over those (current NR) stations becoming part of Crossrail. Perhaps there is a case for a 'sticky' post giving a definitive statement...
