TfL have announced that they have exercised a 2 year extension option on the Concession contract for the Overground network. www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/27193.aspxThe concession will now run to 12 November 2016. I am not surprised given LOROL do a good job. Keeping the same operator in place will also hugely assist in the management of the 5 car project which is clearly essential.

Yes, growth has exceeded all expectations that even LOROL is struggling to keep up. I can't see the NLL bounce-back stopping any time soon!

Great news, it'll make the plans to set up the 5 car operation a lot more easier with the same operator in place.
Bar some very small niggles with LOROL, they've been a great example of how a concession can work properly.
