Nothing correct so far. mrfs42 is obviously getting his green engines confused as there are no prancing horses here. So, your clues:For the main - (click for a larger version) And the background - (click for a larger version) #TootToot

The main location is not Snaresbrook, the version below may assist: (click for a larger version) MRFS' answer for the background doesn't match the card, but I shall leave it to Rincew1nd to determine whether it is right or not. In addition to the subject though we'd like the location.

In that case it must be Strand-on-the-Green bridge.

That's not the answer on the card, for either the main or the inset.

Reckon I've seen that view before from the M11. Something like S Woodford?

It's not that far from Central London ...via the East Coast route. NRM York.

Well done, it is indeed! Background: Wallis & Steevens 'Advance' roller 7941 "City of York No3" outside the National Railway Museum York [Ricew1nd] (click for a larger version) For those members unaware, the roller belongs to my parents. It was delivered new to York council and we took it back to York this summer and stayed at the NRM for a week. We had lots of fun, including meeting the Mayor and and testing their weigh bridge. We did manage to couple the road train to the engine, but didn't have any compressed air to release the brakes! City of York No3 is also the only steam roller on Twitter.

In that case it must be Strand-on-the-Green bridge. That isn't a name I've ever heard it called, but I'll give it to you as there isn't another bridge you could be referring to. Kew Railway Bridge - view from eastbound train [anonymous] (click for a larger version)
