Some techincal difficulties prevent the quiz being posted just now, I'm afraid. Hopefully Chris M will resolve them and then we can carry on as normal.

Today's quiz is a four-part affair. I'm just working on bringing the four parts together into one coherent question, as right now cso and I are like teachers without a mark-scheme!

Technical difficulties in this case meaning I'd forgotten to set the correct permissions for the answer file. Now corrected, I can bring you today's quiz. There are lots of points on offer as part of your Friday entertainment this week, with four locations to identify, the fifth in the set to work out and a veritable nonet [1] of insets to place: Station A: (click for a larger version) Station B: (click for a larger version) Station C: (click for a larger version) Station D: (click for a larger version) The insets in images B and C are referenced according to the diagrams below: [1] a group of 9

A: St John's Wood B: South Ealing
D: Baker Street?

I'm guessing that Station D = Media Vale on the assumption that the connection is that they are all the 11 stations from the end of the line
St Johns Wood is 11 stations from Stanmore Wembley Park is 11 from Uxbridge Kings Cross is 11 from Edgware Media Vale is 11 from Harrow and Wealdstone
Holland Park a possible 5th in the set?

Eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted that the unmodified version of inset D has not yet been posted. This is due to my error in the answer file not being spotted by cso or Rincew1nd. Inset: Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol [Chris M] (click for a larger version)

Well spotted, but purely coincidental on this occasion. Station D is not Maida Vale and Holland Park is not the 5th in the set.

D isn't bank. It's closer to Maida Vale than it is to Bank.

Musical would suggest a Broadway station but Ealing and Fulham Broadways are above ground and Tooting Broadway is nearer Bank than Meida Vale.

[Duffy]When I get to Warwick Avenue, Meet me by the entrance of the Tube[/Duffy] That line has always bothered me, Warwick Avenue station has two entrances. They're not hugely far apart, but if you're waiting for someone then it's best to arrange to meet somewhere unambiguous.
