Yeah, It really annoys me, if they can't tell the difference between Tube & SSL, it makes you wonder...

No, silly, it's on the Met. Didn't you read the article? I thought so too. It made me think of somewhere like Goodge Street.

To be honest, I doubt whoever wrote the article cares. And to be honest, I also don't think that anyone except the people on this board do care.

Glad to see you have a healthy disregard for corporate PR.

Never mind the picture
'Client: Transport of London (London Underground)'
Good to see they know who they are working for.
'This is the largest single order received by the London Underground over the last 17 years in this market and represents a significant award to the business.'
... received from London Underground... ?
As this page appears to have been started three years ago perhaps the writer has now risen to MD level?

To most people, a train is a train, and the type of train is largely irrelevant. Goes for me too. It's not important. As enthusiasts we erroneously tend to think that everybody else is outraged as we are when we read such inaccurate reporting. I said it before once....."The Battle Of Britain" film. Set in 1940 it features several Spitfires with tear-drop canopies (not until 1944) and Bf109s with Merlin engines (Spanish ones from the late 40s). I can barely watch it due to this but most people don't give a toss as they have the advantage of not being as anal as me about WWII fighters!

What you're all failing to see is that, although it isn't mentioned directly, following the power upgrades the Met will be switching to smaller trains, just to make those all-stations journeys from Aldgate to Chesham even comfier. So the picture, I'm afraid, is fairly accurate ;D
