Before Terminal 5 was built eastbound trains used either platform at Heathrow Terminals 123.
Does the signalling still allow that for trains coming off the Terminal 4 loop?
Do any trains run Hatton Cross >> Terminal 4 >> Heathrow Terminals 123 >> Terminal 5?

Yes.
Signal WY1 from the T4 loop approaching Picc Ex Junction has two routes, and access into both platforms at T123 is possible.
Coming from T5, access is only into T123 eastbound platform.

I don't believe that any trains run T4 - - T123 - - -T5 in the timetable.

(now they just run two services during same suspension as the timetabled wait at T123 for the driver to change ends was a bit long). It's very rarely done during disruptions. It's known as a Fish-Hook.

Too bad that's only for suspensions. I imagined Julie Berry announcing, "This is a Piccadilly Line service to Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3, 4 & 5. First it would go to Terminal 4 (with a new platform) and then to Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 and then to Terminal 5. I believed it was possible but it was rare to happen though.
