Hearing from a friend of mine who's partner attempted to commute from Leicester Square around 2345 (last trains on the Northern at 2342/43 on Sundays) that passengers were still trying to get home after spending an evening out on the town after the celebrations not realising that the timetable means the tube closes an hour earlier on Sundays.
Also it appears that the Sunday service provided by not just LUL, or other TfL services, but National Rail services were full to the brim today despite the bad weather. (London Bridge plat 1-6 entrance was closed and Waterloo was extremely busy.)
Should a Saturday timetable been in place considering 1.2m people travelled into zone 1 to watch the pageant?
