As I find myself making use of the 24 hour library facilities while my home internet is broken, it seems that it's my turn to post the single-part question the closes out the month. (click for a larger version)

My gut feeling is either Old Street (Northern Line) or Moorgate (Northern Line), but I guess you can't have two bites of the cherry!!

Old Street +1.
Such a skanky station and the subway surrounding it is even worse. Pick one of the 27 exits where you're not going to get attacked or mugged...

I agree with Old Street Northern line platforms. Are there really 27 exits or is that sarcasim?

I don't know about 27, but there's certainly several of them at top level! All "holes in the ground" with no street level station buildings.

Old Street is built into a roundabout pedestrian subway system like Gants Hill if I remember correctly?

Old Street is built into a roundabout pedestrian subway system like Gants Hill if I remember correctly? Indeed it is! There are 8 exits (9 if you include the one that leads up to the middle of the roundabout). Not sure about being mugged though - it always felt safe to me when I used it in my younger days, and that was when the whole area was dead after about 7.30pm, unlike nowadays whern it is busy because of the various clubs that have sprung up around there. Oh, and +2 for the picture being Old Street (Northern line platforms).

I worked at Old St when I first joined LU. I thought it was 8, but it was a while back! The most horrible station I have ever worked at.

You can just about see the words "Good Service" flying past, I think I took the picture after having waited ten minutes. This is my picture of Old Street - Southbound Northern Line platform in December 2009 (weekend of the Circle Line party).
