I can now reveal that after 50 or so years, Ian Allan Publishing based in Hersham, Surrey, have sold their magazine portfolio to Key Publishing of Stamford, Lincs., more associated with aviation titles. www.keypublishing.com/view_news.asp?ID=4970This means that our magazine has also been transferred. I assume that the IA shops, including the one at Waterloo, are unaffected.

Apparently their concentrating on the book side of the business. Chris Good move on-line magazines are the future - hard copy is on it's way out. The Ian Allan group is a diverse business which includes travel, garages etc. XF

It's now basically printing, car dealerships, travel, Organics, masonic and properties. Plus the shops. The books side is flourishing...our book is out shortly so that should increase sales dramatically. ;D

Goes back a long way..... my Dad was a mason and tells me that there is a shop near Covent Garden where they sell regalia and books, etc. They pretty much have the business sewn-up he says. Is this a company closedown? Absolutely not....
