A is Moor Park, back entrance (to the golf club??) In fact they all like entrances / exits that could be termed to be back entrances (not the obvious main entrance / exit)

That has been playing on my mind all day as to where A is. I knew it but couldn't place it. Annoying when that happens!

A is Moor Park as I recognize the plaque on the wall detailing the London Loop Walk.

You have A and B correct, and Inspector Sands is part of the way to finding the link. These versions may help you find C and D and the inset in B: Station A: Moor Park - Sandy Lodge entrance [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Station B: Stamford Brook - rear entrance [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset B: (click for a larger version) Station C: (click for a larger version) Station D: (click for a larger version)

The inset is the lock that leads into the the King George V dock. The Thames is behind the sluice gates and Thamesmead in the distance

D isn't on LO, but there is a station with a similar name that is. C is south of Camden.

D is the footbridge spanning the Thameslink platforms at Kentish Town, giving access to the Underground station seen in the background (the overhead catenary mast just visible, plus the clue it wasn't in East London or on LO) narriowed the field down a lot.
Are they all entrances from private property (rather than direct from the street)?

D is indeed the rear of the LU station building at Kentish Town viewed from the Thameslink footbridge. Entrances are related to the link, but it isn't to do with whether they go to the street or not.

C - Charing Cross? I'll take a guess and say entrances not open at all times.

C isn't Charing Cross, but you're very close! Opening times of entrances isn't relevant. it's not the entrances themselves that are the link, they just enable it.
