Is 1a the doctors house in Blist hill? I think we're being lulled into a false sense of security here.... That is what I thought given how difficult this quiz normally is but applied Occam's Razor. Maybe it starts of easy and gets progressively more challenging over the days.

Station 4 = Red_Bridge (also a local station in Southampton!) 5B looks like a Sealed Knot renactment. With pikes! So it's (groan) Turn_Pike_Lane. 6 I can only guess is Plan + Tow = Plaistow.
