I have this morning finally managed to see the TfL Christmas service leaflet. Why after all these years have they decided to operate on the north end of the Met on Boxing Day. Has there been some market research and a requirement been recognised or is it wishful thinking. I thought after reading other threads that the north end of the Met is primarily a commuter service so negating the need for a service on the 26th Dec

If we did or if we didn't, someone would complain. Just as is the case for New Years Eve all-night running.
There are many from the suburbs who wish to come to the city on Boxing Day, and we will hopefully provide a fairly regular service for them to do so.

I've worked every boxing day since 2005... that said i've not needed to travel from the country end of the met into the city...
