Thanks Bicbasher for highlighting these changes, which had been rumoured for a while, and they clearly do represent a minor victory for those of us involved with Overground. The 0759 from Woodgrange Park uses the 'hot spare' 7th 172 set, which shows LOROL is confident of it's ability to run their operating spare in service for a couple of hours. The Stratford - Camden Road services are livening up ECS trips as are the Clapham - Willesden junction services. These go some way towards meeting users concerns of infrequent evening services on the NLL and other sections of the Overground. This was discussed on DD under the topic Late Services on the Overground only Half Hourly, which was open back in August and September. Thanks to those who supported these very real concerns.

TfL's Press Release on Overground Extras gives you fuller details of the changes. But this has changed reference from when I first posted it to: www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/archive/21427.aspxIt is now in the October 2011 Archive: I have added some comments in the thread on London Overground Good News?
