As I answered Charlie J's quiz correctly I guess it's my turn to post one of these. I'm not that good at predicting how hard a quiz is, but I've tried to come up with something long and confusing!
Part A:
Starting at a station on the Hammersmith branch, I head east and change after 8 stops. A station I pass through on this line is an interchange with a national rail service. At the next station with interchange to another tube line I change, but not to an LU line. Changing back to LU at the next possible location, I get a westbound train - the next station is the first on my route which is south of the river. A while later I change yet again, still heading west and passing a disused station, and later the last station on this branch to have a single word name. The train eventually returns east, and my destination is two stops past the last one mentioned.
Part B:
This time I start on the same line I finished the last part on, but nearer to the other end, at a station that is in two zones. I get a westbound train to the end of the line, changing and heading east - or is it south? One stop after a junction with another branch, I leave the train and walk to a nearby station, where I let two trains go before heading northbound to the station before last.
