The lower two and the upper left of the panes could be High Barnet... knowing the jiggery-pokery that goes on with this photo manipulation! But I still think the actual window is MHE.

Indeed it is Ellis Island. Did the Grand Central station have the same architect? The brick vaulting on both buildings is virtually identical. (Thats what made me think it was Grand Central at first.)

Having been in Grand Central a number of times I was glad to see that the picture was Ellis Island (where only my great-grandparents were, not me). I was thinking I had forgotten what Grand Central looked like. But as you say, similar architectures.
