Hi,
I have released my A60/62 Stock for Train Simulator and it's proving popular. However on my thread at another forum somebody posted a pic of an A60/62 Stock unit unofficially named Cyril. Anymore of these pictures or names?
James.

I posted details of these some time ago in another thread, but can't remember when, possibly under the Met Line?
Can any of our "past-thread" experts help, please?

Got it!!
Go to Met Line, page 10 of threads. All is revealed in "A Stock with Maroon Roofs", my entry (No.4) of 17/11/08 at 23.43.

It would be great if these units could be named again before withdrawal even if for a few weeks!! Go on....

Well TfL have allowed the named 313s and tram(s?) they inherited to remain named, so maybe their attitude is softening a tiny bit

Yes, that's what I was thinking. If they named an S stock they can do anything really!!

I was involved with the organisation of Chesham centenary events back in 1989 (was it really that long ago?).
One of the LT employees also on the organising committee was the one who had instigated the naming of the A stock, and had also instigated the Neasden depot branding on the A stock.
Needless to say he had been severely reprimanded about it!
