Might be between Beckton Park and Prince Regent. Is that Excel in the distance.

When I use "between" locations, I regard either "between X and Y" or "between Y and X" as correct answers. In the answer sheets I normally use the direction the train was travelling (e.g. "between Pimlico and Victoria" for a northbound train and "between Victoria and Pimlico for a southbound one"), the direction trains normally travel on that line (e.g. "between Pimlico and Vicotira" for the northbound line, and vice versa for the southbound). If the view is looking along both lines, then I'd reference it from the POV of the driver that would get this view (eg. looking south I'd say "between Victoria and Pimlico"). If the view is looking across lines where trains travel in opposite directions, I more usually say "between X and Y" where X is the station closer to the centre of London, but it really doesn't matter!

Goodness me what a pedanticness (to paraphrase the Russians) If we had said "looking west" would that have been better, regardless of the order of the stations? I can't work out if the picture was taken from a train or from the pedestrian bridge at Cyprus, with that degree of zoom. It depends how much it has been cropped.

Well my answer sheet simply says Cyprus departing W/B.
Still the reason for the location being chosen today though.
