Hi, I've just discovered an interesting article on this station on the London Reconnections blog londonreconnections.blogspot.com/ entry dated 8th July 2010. Enjoy. It would be interesting to visit.

It's in a secure building not accessible to the public, so the chances are you won't be able to unless you are TfL staff.

Unfortunately I'm not TfL staff, so I'll just have to enjoy the pictures.

I got to go on Thursday as part of a one-off tour with photos and videos here[/u]. What an interesting afternoon it was, looking at the mock-platform area, the S Stock simulator and the model trains with signalling frames, designed for training purposes to simulate various failures, etc.

One thing I have noticed on the pictures of West Ashfield - the station is a mock District Line station, yet the image of the train in the stations looks like tube stock? (En route to Upminster?!)
