What's the reason for the colour scheme on it? All white with a bit of blue on the bottom, with blue and yellow cab end?

Well Engineers trains on LU are Yellow, and non passenger doors are usually white - so I would suggest they've mixed the Yellow with the LU corporate livery and come up with the result you see.

The clue is in the name of the train.....asset inspection....
It's a fancy way of saying it checks the track as it passes over it with on board measuring/recording equipment.

Its not white, is meant to a silver/grey tone with the blue being some of the Tube Lines livery. The yellow front on the cab is to National Rail standards. The train is not a London Underground unit it belongs to Tube Lines ;D

It does look smart. At least it still survives, much of its kin doesn't!

From 21146 pictures the new train seems to have its 'primus inter pares, shed day Northfields' sticker just like the train its replacing.

Have any of the original interior saloon features (seats, guard panels, etc.) been kept, or has the refurbishment seen all traces of the unit's former use disappear?
