Apologies, I didn't mention that there are bonus points in location 2 for identifying the two insets.

You have B and D, but not the others nor the insets or link. Station A: Station B: Kingbury - north end of southbound platform [Chris M] Inset 1: Inset 2: Station C: Station D: King George V - unused stairs at North side of station *Click any image for a larger version*

Inset 1: Wills Memorial Building, Bristol Spot on. Below is the unmodified version of station C, that might help identify that station: (click for a larger version) (I put the wrong link in the answer file, so this one is my fault not SE13's)

So we have Victoria, Kingsbury, King George V
Sticking neck out - the link is monarchy : with Victoria as the odd one out. So is C King's Cross somewhere?

The link is monarchy, and Victoria is the odd one out (although you haven't established why) but C isn't Kings Cross.

Victoria the odd one out because it is just the name of a monarch, without the word King or (as C is not King's Cross) Queen....
so C would be Queensway, Queens's Park or Queensbury - but I've no idea which....

C is none of them, and that isn't the reason Victoria is the odd one out

Randomly for the link; Victoria is female, and the others are (may be) male?

Rincew1nd: B is Kingsbury, but C isn't Doh, I was just running through all the other stations I could think of with "King" in them to guess what C might be! Missed that we'd already had that one! My Bad.

Queen Victoria's a girl (no: someone else suggested that) Victoria is the only one actually named after the monarch, rather than a district which is itself named after a monarch Victoria is the only opened during the reign of the eponymous monarch (e.g. Regents Park opened in the reign of Edward VII rather than his great-uncle the Prince Regent)

According to What's in a Name the name means "The king's manor or stronghold". The manor was granted to Westminster Abbey by Edward the Confessor (reigned 1042-1066) and the area has been associated with the king since at least 957 when Eadwig was on the throne.
