Evening folks, I heard on BBC London radio yesterday, there used to be delays through Turnham Green/Chiswick Park because there was a flat backed onto the tracks which 'featured' an attractive female resident who would often be seen in a state of undress; this meant the Dissie line drivers would slow down going past the flat (but speed up afterwards so the passengers never got more than a fleeting glimpse, ) - is this true!!? ;D

Probably ;D And it would not be the only location where such "features" existed ;D As a signalman, there were a couple of cabins which had some "interesting" views scenery at certain times of day. But as your thread title suggests, this was back in the 80s and 90s. We're all very politically correct these days, and I'm sure no such place exists

Used to be one in the houses that backed on to the rear of Golders Green Depot,if you went out of the back door to the shed between 11:30pm and midnight, you couldn't move for cleaners.

Then there was the flat at Latimer Road WB, just off the end of the platform. It had a flat roof which the young ladies who lived there used to use for sunbathing.......

There is also a house, painted blue just past Alperton on the west, where the resident female likes to get an all over tan during the summer months.

Although if you cant find one, simply take a ladder to your neighbours bedroom window and hope for the best.

I would imagine revenue will be rubbing their hands in glee at the increased traffic to these spotting locations ;D
