Hi I think this is the right area. So I was wondering what everyone's most liked (or maybe least hated ) line of the Underground is and why. For me it's the Jubilee line. I really like the contrast between the old and the new, the fact that places like Neasden and Willesden Green, positively aged stations in the scale of things, are linked directly with the vast chasms of Canary Wharf and North Greenwich. The sound of the 96 stock too. Spectacular

Got to be the Picc for me - love them 73's - love the open sections between Hounslow and Barons Court, then the twisting and turning through the tunnels into central London and beyond.
A line with great character, some beautiful stations and as I said great stock. Like metman above with his A stock, I don't look forward to the day the Picc loses it's 73's

The Northern Line. My own local prejudice mixed with so much history and so many might have beens.

Spent most of my time when in London on District and Picc, though prefer the former over the latter. Bakerloo holds a certain level of fascination for me.

I love the architecture of the JLE but I think it has to be the Met.

No surprise that The Piccadilly is tops for me. Love the 73's, the 59's and 38's prior, some of the stations are exquisite to the eye.
Not to mention that as an Arsenal fan, it's the most used of all the lines on the system. Happy days tipping out at Arsenal tube before the games, and falling back (drunk) on the train after the games.
I was never really a fan of sub-surface stock, they just don't seem to have the "uniqueness" of tube stock....... *Awaits ambush*

Well - it's got to be the Met - as that's where I work ! Seriously, the Met is unique in my opinion, from the locations it runs to - to the staff that work on the line.

A three-way tie(in no particular order) for me: Central, Metropolitan, Piccadilly.

Picc for me! Interesting, varied and has quite a bit of history. I liek the '73ts too.

Northern! Mad line, full of interesting nooks and crannies. And the first deep-level bits. And the first electrified bit. And some superb architecture.

For me it has to be the Victoria line. I never get tired of the scenery between the stations. It is amazing how much it changes between each block of two stations

The Met is probably my favourite, because it makes my West-East commute practical.

Favourite line is definitely the Picc. Spent a year of my life on it travelling from Arnos to Hounslow Central & I never got fed up those 73's! However, the Met holds a place in my heart, but just because of the A60's on an Amersham Fast... *boing*
