For anybody who is interested, Tom Page has released a set of photographs of the development of the new Northern ticket hall at King's Cross St. Pancras: www.flickr.com/photos/tompagenet/sets/72157621872604905/Some interesting ones in there. (Sorry if I posted it in the wrong place – didn't want to post it in the photography section because I thought it would form discussion beyond that.)

If only London Underground could bottle and sell that sense of humour to some of the punters!

Those DMI's in the ticket halls never work... anyone know why? Surely it is a simple case of hooking them up to the platform DMI's that work fine.
The IR platform was partly closed on Sunday due to flooding.
The auto announcer sounds so silly now as well.... "Ladies and gentle men"

Cripes, if I ever see Kings Cross station again I probably won't recognise it. Mind you the same can probably be said of much of the system, it's been 49 months since I last used the system and a lot must've changed in that time. It's all downhill now, as the saying goes, I'll soon know nothing at all about everything LUL !
