As is well known, political correctness and policies of inclusivity have put a focus on accessibility onto platforms and then from there on/off the trains. In San Francisco, heritage tramcars used on their two Heritage lines are modified to allow wheelchairs to be loaded. With precedents like that, it is no surprise that attention has been given to the Tube network.
My question complements my post about platform heights.
I'm looking to glean the extra bit of data beyond TubePrune's dimensions chart item C which seems to be the height to the bottom of the solebar (is that the right terminology?).
I know that Tube platforms are being raised alongside 1st and last car positions at wheelchair-accessible stations. But I haven't been able to find by how much. Can anyone brief me?
At this stage, is anyone privy to these sort of dimensions for the 2009ts and S stock?
Thanks in advance

For what it is worth, my recollection from around 1960 is that, at that time, there was very little difference between platform height and car floor on lines that used only one kind of stock. Obviously, platforms used by both tube and surface stock had to be a compromise height, and you stepped down into tube cars and up into surface ones.

This would explain why several tube platforms, all in Zone 1,have areas of platform that are ramped slightly higher (perhaps 3"-6") than the rest. This work has the appearance of being an "add-on" and I've only noticed it in the last few years (5 years?).I hadn't noticed particularly that they were at the ends of platforms. I'd been meaning to ask about why this had been done, and had intended to make a note of where I had seen it and then pst a question. When I see this again,I'll pay closer attention.

On the Victoria line Tottenham Hale and Brixton (the only two stations currently with wheelchair access) have this raised section, but it's clearly positioned for access to the middle two cars only of an eight car train.
I suspect KXSP will follow shortly, as the middle section of the platform had an extra deep clean recently.
My impression of the raised section on the Victoria line stations is around 5" above standard platform height, but that the platform edge is set back around 2". Compromise between level access and gap-free access.

The W&C has a raised section of platform about halfway along the train, close to where the lift has been insatlled on the arrival platform at Waterloo.
Obviously the raised sections have to be placed consistently at all stations!
Interestingly, despite two refurbishments, the W&C ptaforms still display Network SouthEast "flashes" at the platform edges. These were placed to mark where the doors would be when the train stops (W&C commuters used to queue up dutifully behind them, rather than form a scrum as they do at other Tube stations)
However, the flashes are positioned for the door positions on the SR's 1940 stock, and have therefore been in the wrong place for the last fifteen years.

I think I remember reading, years ago, that the plan was to lift and juggle the slabs with the NSE logos while the line was closed for the swap of old to new trains? Can't say that I've ever looked to see how good a job they did, so maybe it wasn't done at all! :-)

The Northern Line platforms at London Bridge Station have the front-end of the platforms raised to provide wheelchair access to the 1st car. Not sure about the rear-end of the platforms though.
I think Bank on the Northern Line has similar arrangements as well? But I could be wrong about that one.

The S/B at LOB has a raised hump about two cars from the headwall, the N/B has a hump about a 1/3 way along from the tailwall.
