Hi Guys, Just a quick question: When you set up the DVA on 67/69/72/77, it plays out "This is a x line train to y. This train is ready to depart, please stand clear of the doors." How is this activated? I asume it is played when you select the current starting location from the list? Or does it count down once this is selected? I know the "Stand Clear" is preset also counts down on 67/72 stocks when you arrive at a station but am not sure what activates this particular message. Thanks for any help

I cannot speak for these stocks as I've never been trained on them, but on C stocks it's activated by pressing the door open buttons on the side where the doors are already open - I wonder if they might work in the same way

Thanks Colin,
That would seem right to me - I know they don't always play it so thats probably why, if you don't activate the doors again then it doesn't go. I would asume it was done like this because of the selective facility.

on a 67 when you open the doors it plays the announcement of where you are, and the destination, during that time it starts a count down and when it gets to 3 seconds it will announce stand clear of the doors. Although this doesnt always work, lol or it gives you a way to long count down so you just cancel it and press the stand clear of the doors button on the dva
