Chiswick Park doesn't have platforms on the fast lines but it is possible to send Piccs down the slow line from Hammersmith or Acton Town. And Stamford Brook doesn't have a platform on one of the fast lines.

And Stamford Brook doesn't have a platform on one of the fast lines. Yes, the eastbound to be precise. I've always thought Stamford Brook was an odd looking station at platform level - the westbound island platform is a completely different style from the eastbound, like two separate stations.

That's cos the Eastbound District platform was built later than the island platform when the Picc was extended from Hammersmith ;D ;D

The westbound platform at Stamford Brook was built by the LSWR as part of their line from Richmond via Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush to Addison Road, now Olympia. The line used the viaduct at Hammersmith, went under the Met line at what is now shepherds Bush bus garage and passed under Shepherds Bush Road where the block of flats is, just before the green.
