My title describes it all. These few months, I have seen quite a number of trains turning the left from West India Quay to Westferry and then suddenly stop. The train's front light goes out. The PSA would then usually take manual control of it to take it to Westferry.
When these events first started in Aug/Sept, the PSA used to drive the train to Westferry, unload all passengers and then take the trains back to the depot. However, more recently they manually craw the trains to Shadwell, picking up/dropping off passengers on the way, and "reset" the train at Shadwell. The trains then "heal" and continue to Bank.
Can anyone shed some light on what is causing these "breakdowns?"

Yes it happened to that train too. It's happenning all too often and could have been to do with the recent signal upgrades for the new stocks (perhaps they are somewhat not compatible with the existing stocks). Any insiders who could shed some light?
