I have updated the desire lists for quiz locations and uploaded them in Open Office Calc, MS Excel (untested), pdf and html formats. They all are all listed in both alphabetical order and desire category order (the latter starts on page 23 of the PDF). I have uploaded them to www.sucs.org/~cmckenna/photos/quizes/tqmisc/ and the file names are self explanatory.. Following a request from caravelle there is also for the first time a map showing which locations are most wanted in the same location. Please do let me know if you find this map useful as it took a few hours to produce (the tables took only a few minutes) and so I'll not do it again if nobody uses it. Also most welcome are ideas for connecting locations to dates, link questions (plain links, odd one out and/or 5th in the set) and any way to keep these requests more up to date. Any way of populating the map with data from the spreadsheet I use to manage the quiz would be useful/interesting as well. Chris

I will update the desire maps, etc shortly (the current ones are not too out of date) but at the moment I'm running low on photos for backgrounds/insets - anywhere you think people will be able to identify that is ''not'' one of the following places would be good: * Epping-Ongar Railway * Mid Hants Railwaly (Watercress Line) * RAF Musuem Hendon * Battle of Britain museum, London * Kingsway tram subway
As with the main location photos (always welcome), a few pictures of several locations is more useful than lots of one place. Sending the files to me by email (cmckenna at sucs dot org) is the easiest way to get them to me.

Yes I do still want photos for the quiz!
The list below is of locations that I'm least in need of, but anywhere else will be good. I know it looks long, but it's only about 1/7th of the total number of locations in the database, and the only between and junction locations that are there are ones I've had photos of at some point. The list in the previous post is still up to date regarding backgrounds and insets.
Abbey Road Acton Central Acton Town Aldgate Archway Arnos Grove Baker Street Bank Barking Barkingside Barons Court Battersea Park Bermondsey Bethnal Green (LO) Between Canning Town and Royal Victoria Blackhorse Road Brent Cross Buckhurst Hill Bushey Caledonian Road Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Canada Water Canary Wharf (DLR) Canary Wharf (Jubilee) Canning Town Charing Cross Cheshunt Chigwell Chorleywood Clapham High Street Clapham Junction Cockfosters Colindale Crystal Palace Dalston Junction Ealing Broadway Ealing Common Ealing Common Depot Earl's Court East India Edgware Edgware Road (Circle) Edmonton Green Elm Park Embankment Epping Farringdon Finchley Central Finsbury Park Forest Gate Fulham Broadway Gloucester Road Golders Green Goldhawk Road Gospel Oak Grange Hill Green Park Greenford Gunnersbury Hackney Wick Haggerston Hainault Hammersmith (H&C) Hanger Lane Harrow & Wealdstone Hatton Cross Headstone Lane High Barnet High Street Kensington Highbury & Islington Holborn Holloway Road Kensington Olympia King's Cross St. Pancras Latimer Road Lewisham Liverpool Street (LU) London Bridge London City Airport Lots Road Power Station Loughton Mile End Moorgate Morden Depot New Cross Gate Newbury Park North Ealing North Weald Northumberland Park Depot Notting Hill Gate Ongar Park Royal Regent's Park Richmond Rickmansworth Rotherhithe Royal Albert Royal Victoria Shepherd's Bush (Central) Shoreditch High Street Sloane Square South Kensington St. James's Park Stamford Brook Stanmore Stratford Sudbury Town Temple Theydon Bois Tower Hill Turnham Green Turnpike Lane Upminster Upper Holloway Victoria Wanstead Warren Street Waterloo Watford (Met) Wembley Park West Brompton West Ham West Kensington White City Whitechapel Willesden Junction Wood Lane

I've woken up now BTW.......

Seeing that list in the RIPAS context, I can only add The Lakeland's 32-piece finest is twitching on the study shelf as I type this.

I think even the most dedicated crayonista would find issue with a route from Embankment to Farringdon with a single intermediate stop at Epping!

The challenge now is to visit them all - in that order.

I dunno, haven't you heard of Epping Triangle-if Winnersh can have one....... The challenge now is to visit them all - in that order. Have you been to Betfred yet to get the odds on which month anyone taking that on will be completing it?

Just checking that you're referring to the 'Epping' in New South Wales...

For later this month, I would like some photos for backgrounds/insets from a specific area. So if you think you have or will be able to get some pictures in west London to me by about the 20th of September please send me a PM and I'll be more specific.
More generally, some more backgrounds and insets would be welcome - perhaps take a photograph next time you visit a non-TfL station or take a trip outside London and send it to me. Even just one photo is good.

Hello
I have quite a few suitable photos for "guess where" photo quizzes from a previous photo quiz I ran a few years ago. They have already been suitably modified to remove obvious clues such as station names or similar
If interested, I can send them across. They were all taken by myself on my own photographic equipment and the stations they were taken from appear on an up to date Tube Map

Yes please, email them to me at cmckenna @ sucs.org When the lockdown is over, perhaps you could post an updated list of stations required. I think I'm going to want to do a little roving by then.

class411 and others interested, I've created a google spreadsheet which notes how many photographs I have in stock for each location. It can be found at sucs.org/uri/a9 - I intend to keep it updated periodically but if it has been a while please do feel free to remind me! The ideal number of photographs to have in stock for each location is around 5-10 for stations and about 3-5 for other locations. If I have many more than that for any location, then new pictures are the least desired (unless they are somehow particularly different), if I have significantly less than that then new photos are the most desired. If an on-topic location doesn't appear in the list then it means I've never had any photos from there and any you have would be most welcome.
