Hi all,
How come the on the home page of the TfL website, in the Service updates box on the right hand side of the page, it used to say East London Line Bus service and now it has been removed?
Have all the replacement bus services been withdrawn?

Have all the replacement bus services been withdrawn? No.... if you click on RAIL on the Tfl live updates bit... you get: Overground EAST LONDON LINE: The line is closed to enable works to upgrade it to be part of the new London Overground network. Replacement bus services operate. Find out more information here

oh good they finally moved it. however it still appears under tube if you click on service updates.
on a similar note when is the east london line sub forum going to be removed from here? important threads could be moved to LO.

As things stand, the East London line board is very much here to stay as part of this forum for the very reason of historical discussion.
When it re-opens as the East London Railway, it will be considered a part of the National Rail network whereas the East London line up to December 2007 was an LU line.
The two are different subjects and as such, there are two separate boards to reflect this.

The ELL did indeed appear on the full Tube 'Live travel news' page (which you could get to by clicking on the 'Service updates' link on the TfL homepage) until very recently - like a few days ago - but now it's gone from there too: 'Live travel news' page minus the East London Line
