All we know is... edit: OTOH visit www.ipswich-underground.co.uk/. Time for a sitdown with a map of Ipswich... I'll have a think as for colours, blue and white would seem appropriate (or Yellow and Green if you are a stirrer )

Shouldn't Walworth Road be included in the Bakerloo Line diagram between Elephant and Camberwell?

I love that! That's wicked, Benedict!
(I do like the little pile of lines and stations in the bottom left-hand corner, too!)

Does anyone know if the Circle Line & District maps on the train carriages have been updated with a sticker to go over Tower Hill to show the closure of the DLR at Tower Gateway yet ?
If so can someone send me a picture please

I've got a few of these I made myself, didn't upload them because I didn't want to be sent to prison for 20 years. Good stuff though, especially for Paint, that's some skill! ;D

Any sign of any stickers over Tower Hill on the D and C stock trains line maps?

I didn't spot any stickers on any of the 3 C stocks I travelled on yesterday. I didn't use a D stock.

Have some spare time and have decided to do some diagrams again- but have no ideas where to start! Come on, any wacky or stupid suggestion is welcomed with open arms Some years ago, my brother, facing the prospect of a very serious intestinal operation cheered the entire family up by sending out doctored versions of a tube map stating "MAJOR ENGINEERING WORKS ON THE BAKERLOO LINE". Needless to say, Harrow and Wealdstone was the mouth, there was a bus replacement service indicated between Oxford Circus and Waterloo, and the less said about the alterations he made to Elephant and Castle the better............ He made a full recovery. Richard

Obviously my website doesn't appear in search results, which is a good thing as anyone who has seen it knows I have produced a lot of 'alternative' maps - designed to illustrate potential re-workings and how they could fit in perfectly well within TfL's branding guidelines. This is a dodgy area, I know, but without doing that it's difficult to do an illustration where you can prove it WOULD be faithful to poster design/signage standards.
I'm sure many people working FOR TfL* or their suppliers have produced many mock-ups over the years to test new ways of displaying information, with a view to putting forward for official take-up and approval (as with Beck's map in the first place).

Many thanks AI! It was a pleasure to actually fiddle about with it. There has been some progress since, but I can't find the file atm! ThirstQuensher, I'd be interested to see your varients. If its ok can you pm me? For those interested, I made another map a while back but never finished it. Its semi-fantasy, but contains a lot of proposed extensions from over the years as well as future ones. images.fotopic.net/yu1p2m.jpg
