Heh - there's a leeeetle bit more to it than his ability to wow me with timetables ;D We actually met via a motorcycle forum, but the first face-to-face meeting was on a trip out on the steam railway where MRFS42 works, which the motorcycle forum had arranged!

Yesterday, as I was sitting on my favourite train (38ts), on my favourite line (Northern) passing through my favourite station (Camden Town), my favourite guy (MRFS42) went down on bended knee and asked me if I would do him the honour of becoming his wife. Of course, I said YES! ;D many thanks to the impromtu engagement party attendees (those who joined us in Ganley's Pub in Morden) and who took photos to mark this auspicious occasion. Ducatisti even supplied some champers! *passes round the bubbly, clinks glasses with all* Congratulations to both of you.

Not visordown by any chance which is was a member of a while back? No, not Visordown - another group called 'Ixion'. Which only vaguely talks about 'bikes - camera and gadget woes; sql problems and GPS tend to crop up with more regularity than 'bikes.

Has the ring been forged by the Nibelungen yet?

The date is a wee while in the future; however I think that there should certainly be a 'forum party'.....

The wedding list should be more interesting than normal... How about a "Just Married" headboard on a 95TS from Camden Town to Euston via Kennington for the post-wedding party

The wedding list should be more interesting than normal... will it have tube stock on the list I'd like 3 programme machines - a 'V' frame and a an unlimited supply of BR 930A relays, please. ;D ;D ;D AI might have to settle for a '67TS DM.

You could always track down that 59ts in a garden somewhere! Don't they have a flare sided car at Quainton Road? Anyway, congratulations

Its taken just 8 days.... but the scary photo (of MRFS's reaction to his engagement to AngelIslington) has almost become the highest viewed photo on my Fotopic site with 322 hits more than 40.25 hits per day.... You're a popular couple guys and now famous to boot ;D ;D ;D

Assuming they were tied on securely, were electrically insulated from the train, and in a way that they would not fall off and foul points then I can't see a problem. Unfortunately I can't think of a way, at least off the top of my head, how this could be done.
