Any one got a copy of the Supplement to the Traffic Circular with the sigalling at Newbury Park when it first opened with the new LT Signal Box with a 59 lever frame.

Unfortunately I don't have that one. The best I can do is the supplement to the traffic circular for the extension of passenger services from Newbury Park to Hainault. This does show some of the signalling at Newbury Park, but only that to the Hainault side of the station. This is a redrawn version of the diagramEdit: This diagram has been updated 05/03/06

Thanks for the diagram Harsig, well done, now do you have any details of where the branch from Seven Kings joined at Newbury Park.

It was the other way around - the tube mouths were constructed on either side of the route from Seven Kings, to form a flying junction between the double-track LNER line and the tube line, with the points located about 10-12 feet away from the platforms. That was why the ETD listed on the up (Outer Rail) platform in the diagram is present, as without it you can't clear the starter for the route down the pipe.

Yes I know the tube was built after the Seven Kings Line, but I wondered if Harsig has a diagram with the points & signals at this end of Newbury Park.

Oh I see - I thought you were seeking clarification on the type of junction that was used. All I can find is a craptastic wide-angle photo of the frame and diagram in the cabin on the Westinghouse signal frame website: www.wbsframe.mste.co.uk/LT_Newbury_Park.htm

Thanks to another occasional contributor to this forum I do now have a copy of the Traffic Circular supplement for the opening of Newbury Park cabin. I have therefore modified the diagram I originally posted to show the arrangements at the Leytonstone end of the station. It is unfortunately a bit compressed and contorted in order to avoid a major redrafting exercise. The modified Diagram can be seen here
