Alstom's maintenance contract for 96TS runs out next year. After the fiasco on the Northern I don't give much for their chances of it getting it renewed.

So who will get it instead? Does the contracyt have an open opt-out that allow TfL to assign it to the infraco?

As far as I am aware Alstom are a subbie to Tubelines so I would think it would be their decision,by the way, Tubelines have brought in people from the Piccadilly maintenance staff to try and sort out the mess on the Northern.

Further to that, LUL have used emergency powers under the PPP contract to directly involve themelves in the work being carried out to rectify the problem.
